Exciting Opportunity: Technical Associate, Fresher 2024
We are inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate, Fresher 2024 BCM. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality deliverables while being open to learning new technologies.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
Interaction: Engage with business, technology, or vendor personnel to gather information about existing software systems, including PII involvement, registration process, authentication, main functionalities, authorization, data encryption, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
Workflow Creation: Develop a workflow diagram to illustrate information flow between various stakeholders in a software system.
Architecture Diagram: Create architecture diagrams using the iDesigner tool based on questionnaires completed by the development team.
Multi-tasking: Coordinate the completion of risk & control assessments by interacting with various stakeholders and prioritizing tasks.
Single Sign-On Implementation: Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML.
Jira Management: Update and maintain Jira items in the Kanban dashboard.
Follow-up and Reporting: Proactively follow up for status updates, escalate when necessary, and create status reports for ongoing tasks to present to senior management.
Ad hoc Production Releases: Coordinate ad hoc production releases of security controls outside of office hours.
User Interaction: Explain technology terms to business users in simple English.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: BE/B Tech/MCA
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Software Architecture: Good understanding of 2-tier, 3-tier, and n-tier architecture, authentication between different tiers, and the hardware involved in software systems.
Data Concepts: Understanding of data retention and deletion concepts.
Java Development: Experience in writing clean code in Java using a test-first development approach.
Technology Security: Strong knowledge of technology security controls (Authentication, Authorization, Encryption of data, SSO, Data retention/deletion).
PII Knowledge: Understanding of PII data and applicable controls to safeguard it.
Coordination Skills: Excellent coordination and analytical skills.
Tools Proficiency: Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
