Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic developer to join the Db2 for z/OS team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software tools that handle automation testing involving different frameworks written on React, Node.js, VUE, and databases like Db2 and MongoDB. This position requires strong proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python. In addition to software development, you will also execute test cases. Your main duties will include working closely with our clients and client success team to resolve customer problems and deliver potential new enhancements based on customer requirements with high quality. We are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn new technologies and a passion for product quality and new technology. Candidates with strong programming, debugging, and problem troubleshooting skills will excel in this position. Flexibility to work in different time zones is essential.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Software Development Skills: Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.

DBMS Knowledge: Experience with Db2 and MongoDB.

Development Tools: Knowledge of Git/GitHub.

Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Communication: Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Flexibility: Ability to work in different time zones.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
